The mission of the Gardens at Tidewater Farm is to provide agricultural and horticultural educational opportunities to the community utilizing research-based, environmentally friendly and sustainable gardening practices. There are several garden areas at Tidewater Farm, including the Cottage Garden, Children’s Garden and Meadow, Maine Harvest for Hunger Plots, All-American Selections, Gathering Circle and Herb Garden, and Market Garden. Master Gardener Volunteers help maintain the gardens, plan outreach and educational efforts, lead garden tours and field trips, and more! We typically host 1 work day per week and offer flexible volunteer opportunities for those who have busy work and family\/personal lives.<\/p>\n
