At the new Morse High School, we have two very large, deep beds that were created to mitigate the vernal pools that were disrupted by building on this site. They are full of native plants, but have also been hosting some invasive species following such a wet summer. Maintenance\/ weeding will be necessary regularly.\u00a0Last year, a student completed his Eagle Project at Morse by creating a Yellow Tulip garden as part of the Yellow Tulip Project: removing the stigma around mental illness. This tulip bed needs to be weeded as well as refreshed with mulch yearly and fertilized.<\/p>\n
