Procedures and General Practices:
Staff have been trained on tools for promoting healthy hygiene practices.
- If a child does get sick at camp, we have identified an area where they can rest, be watched after, and safely isolate themselves from others until they can be picked up by a family member or caretaker.
- It is the expectation that campers that are showing signs of sickness will be picked up by a family member or caretaker within a maximum of eight hours.
Prior to Camp Arrival:
- Anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 must stay home and isolate from for a minimum of 5 days prior to arrival at camp.
Participants will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 24 hours prior to arrival at the camp. Test results can be uploaded to your account on Ultra Camp or sent directly to the Camp’s Health Center Team by fax or email.

Parents will need to sign an authorization to test at camp should it become needed. UMaine COVID-19 testing authorization form (PDF)
