Club News

Horse of Course
The Horse of Course 4-H Club met in June and we welcomed three new members.  The group made homemade dog biscuits and cut them out into the shape of a dog bone, pig, and unicorn. They all were able to take a bag home for their dogs.  While the bones were baking we talked about getting entries into the photo contest and the upcoming June Jamboree at the fairgrounds. We did more work on parts of the horse and there were pictures of horses for them to color.  Our meeting in June will be using stencils on wood and then painting it and our two teenage members will be making a tie quilt that will be donated to the Cottontail Cottage Farm Sanctuary in Cherryfield to be auctioned off on their Facebook page to raise funds for their rescue.  Submitted by Club Leader Elaine G.
