Administrative Specialist CL1

The Administrative Specialist position with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, Hancock County office, will provide a variety of administrative support contributing to the success of the 4-H youth development program and staff in Hancock County. Tasks are performed within well-defined procedures. Use of a variety of computer online programs, such as WordPress, Mailchimp, and social media programs will be required. The work done in this position is essential to the mission of Cooperative Extension because it supports the positive youth development program, 4-H, which is focused on educating and empowering youth ages 5-18 through positive and sustained relationships between youth and adults, activities that build important life skills, and opportunities for youth to use these skills as participants and leaders in valued community activities. This position is contingent on funding. Part-time, 20 hours per week, 5 days per week. Daily work hours worked will be between Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position pays $15.95/hour, or applicable transfer rate.
