April 25, 2020 @ 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

| Free
4-H Teens at conference

Given the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation in Maine, UMaine Extension is making the decision to cancel this event. We are planning to offer this opportunity again in the future, so stay tuned!

We invite all 4-H Volunteers AND 4-H Teens to participate in this fun & exciting “Unconference” – where YOU, the participants, choose what topics to talk about!

Visit https://extension.umaine.edu/4h/volunteers/unconference/ for all the details!

What is Unconference?
A volunteer forum led by 4-H volunteers for 4-H volunteers. UMaine 4-H Unconference is intentionally designed to have YOU teach and learn from each other.

Who should attend?
Anyone can attend! 4-H volunteers, teen leaders, after-school providers, teachers —anyone who works with youth.

What will happen?
There is no agenda – you come with 4-H ideas and topics you want to talk about or learn more about, and we’ll guide the process to get folks into groups where YOU are the experts.

Sample sessions might include:
– working with Cloverbuds
– effective 4-H Leaders’ Associations
– project records
– animal science activities
– ideas for including STEM
and many more! The group decides the topics at the beginning of UMaine 4-H Unconference.

All experience levels are welcome and no one person has all the answers.
