Recipients must complete an application, submit all required paperwork, and meet merit-based criteria in order to be eligible for a scholarship, which may vary in amount up to $750. Download an application and submit it to the Extension Office.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Deadline to apply:\u00a0 Monday, April 6th, 2026.<\/b> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/hancock\/resource\/2025-4-h-leaders-association-college-scholarship-application\/\">Leaders Scholarship Application<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Our\u00a0<b>Hancock County Extension\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Homemakers<\/span><\/b> group is accepting scholarship applications for the 2026 academic year. A scholarship in the amount of $400 will be awarded to a deserving Hancock County senior who will be enrolling full-time in a college or school. Application forms can be obtained at your local High School Guidance Office or download an application and submit it to the Extension Office. <b>Deadline to apply: Friday, April 3rd, 2026. <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/hancock\/resource\/2025-homemakers-scholarship-application\/\">Homemakers Scholarship Application<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Camp Scholarships<\/h3>\n<p>There are a variety of ways to fund your <a href=\"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/4h\/youth\/camps\/\">4-H Camp &amp; Learning Center<\/a> experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hancock County 4-H offers several scholarships each year for youth from Hancock County. Photo Credit: Staff, Carla S<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Thanks to fundraising efforts through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tractorsupply.com\/landing-pages_4-h_4h-tsc\">Paper Clover Campaign<\/a> in partnership with Tractor Supply Company, Hancock County 4-H is able to offer youth members scholarships for Leadership Opportunities. These funds are used to support a variety of leadership experiences from Robotics Competition Junior Leaders, to support for a <a href=\"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/4h\/home\/national-4-h-trips\/\">National 4-H Trip<\/a> or a <a href=\"https:\/\/4hcenter.org\/tours-programs\/national-youth-summits\/\">National 4-H Summit<\/a>, to a local community leadership project.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact <a href=\"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/hancock\/staff\/\">Hancock County 4-H Staff<\/a> if you are interested in discussing how these funds can be used to support your leadership experiences.<\/p>\n<h3>4-H Foundation Scholarships<\/h3>\n<p>Maine 4-H is proud to offer scholarships to youth of all ages, but our due date for post-secondary education scholarships is rapidly approaching.
