Highmoor Farm<\/strong> is UMaine College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture\u2019s fruit and vegetable research facility in Monmouth.\u00a0Our goal is to conduct applied research for the fruit and vegetable farmers of Maine and provide educational resources for Maine agriculture to remain competitive.<\/p>\n

At Highmoor Farm researchers routinely evaluate apple, berry, and vegetable varieties for important horticultural traits and for disease resistance. Some of the better pumpkin varieties are shown here.<\/p>\n
