Cooking Matters offers hands-on lessons covering meal preparation, grocery shopping, food budgeting, and nutrition. Participants practice basic food skills, such as reading ingredient labels and making a healthy meal for a family of four on a $10 budget. After each lesson, class members take home a bag of groceries to recreate the recipes for their families.
