Cooking Your Way

child preparing food in the kitchenCooking Your Way is a fun, interactive series with three (3) Zoom group workshops, and three (3), independent online classes. We will help you make healthier versions of your favorite recipes. Enroll with a friend and have some fun!

All sessions are online, class topics are below:

  • Class #1: Get Cooking – Healthier Recipes
    and an introduction to the independent sessions
  • Class #2: Saving Money at the Store:Cooking Matters at the Store             (Presented as a virtual tour and you will receive a $10 gift card and Booklet)
  • Class #3: Celebrate! Creating Family Favorite Foods while
    reducing Fat, Sugar, and Salt and Increasing Daily Physical Activity
  • Individual education topics include MyPlate, Smart Snacking, and Keeping Your Food Safe.

University of Maine Cooperative Extension Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program is free to parents and adults caring for children if you are eligible for programs such as free/reduced-price school meals, SNAP, WIC, Head Start or if you are experiencing limited income due to job loss, furlough or layoff.
