UMaine Cooperative Extension’s Rogers Farm Demonstration Garden will host its weekly Community Farm Stand and Open House on Tuesdays, July 7 through Sept. 22, 2026, from 4:30–6:30 p.m. at 914 Bennoch Road in Old Town. The donation-based stand is free and open to the public.
The farm stand is designed to increase community access to locally grown food. Visitors can browse seasonal produce, learn about new and unfamiliar vegetables, and pick up recipes to try at home. Each week may also feature pizza tastings and other samples highlighting local foods, giving neighbors a chance to gather in a relaxed, community-centered setting. UMaine Extension staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer gardening questions.
The farm stand is donation-based and open to all. No registration is required. For more information, visit the Rogers Farm Demonstration Garden webpage.
