Windowsill Gardening at PVAEC, April 11, 2020 CANCELLED
April 11 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm| $5
If you have a sunny windowsill, you can grow microgreens for (almost) instant gratification as well as start seedlings to plant in your garden later in spring. Most vegetables need outdoor sun and soil to grow to maturity, but tasty and nutritious microgreens are harvested young, and seedlings will be planted outside when conditions allow. This is a hands-on workshop-prepare to get dirty! Soil, seed, containers, and printed instructional handouts are provided. Trisha is UMaine Extension’s Community Education Assistant for Home Horticulture in Piscataquis County.
