{"id":4752,"date":"2015-03-23T14:38:27","date_gmt":"2015-03-23T18:38:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/plugged-in\/?page_id=4752"},"modified":"2022-05-04T12:49:46","modified_gmt":"2022-05-04T16:49:46","slug":"recordkeeping-in-4-h","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/plugged-in\/table-of-contents\/recordkeeping-in-4-h\/","title":{"rendered":"Recordkeeping in 4-H"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>Recordkeeping is a Skill for Living<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>4-H record requirements vary among counties, clubs and projects. 4-H records help youth:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>establish good organizing and planning habits;<\/li>\n<li>evaluate economic growth;<\/li>\n<li>gain satisfaction and motivation from progress;<\/li>\n<li>improve written communication skills;<\/li>\n<li>improve decision making and priority setting skills; and<\/li>\n<li>establish positive direction and identify goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4-H members do not learn these skills automatically.
