These are equipped with <em>The Maine Atlas &amp; Gazetteer<\/em>, a variety of general supplies, and, in the glove box, <a href=\"https:\/\/extension.umaine.edu\/plugged-in\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/54\/2022\/03\/WEX-Fuel-Card-and-Emergency-Reference-Sheet-for-Cooperative-Extension-Vehicle-Use-2-sheets-for-glovebox.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WEX Fuel Card and Emergency Reference Sheet for Cooperative Extension Vehicle (PDF)<\/a>, (two sheets in the glovebox) for:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>using WEX fuel payment cards and<\/li>\n<li>what to do \/ who to call in the event of an emergency<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Your safety on the road is our priority and we want to make sure you have the tools you need for safe work travels!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Please follow these instructions on how to get approved to drive a vehicle and how to make a reservation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"#approval-process\"><strong>Approval Process<\/strong><\/a> is <strong>required for first-time users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"#car-reservation-process\"><strong>Reservation Process<\/strong><\/a> will be followed each time you reserve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><a id=\"approval-process\"><\/a>Approval Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/umaine.edu\/ofm\/campus-services\/motor-pool\/\">UMaine Motor Pool page<\/a> to download and complete the appropriate <strong>License Agreement Form<\/strong> (staff, student, etc.), and read through the:\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>Operating Rules,<\/li>\n<li>the APL 11-B, and<\/li>\n<li>the Motor Vehicle Use Policies<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Return your completed <strong>License Agreement Form<\/strong> to <a href=\"mailto:ella.glatter@maine.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ella.glatter@maine.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Apply for a WEX fuel card and individual pin using this <a href=\"https:\/\/mycampus.maine.edu\/documents\/10217\/3805423\/WEX+Fuel+Card+Application+062016\/aa82bb15-71de-4ac4-9e10-a5e390fa15c0\">WEX Gas Card \/ Driver Pin Application form<\/a> (must have a .maine.edu email address\/login to access and download). WEX cards are used for fueling vehicles and are found in each vehicle\u2019s glove compartment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li>Department Contact information: Ella Glatter<\/li>\n<li>Card Assignment area left blank (including Assign to a Person and Assigned to a Vehicle areas)<\/li>\n<li>Driver Pin# &#8211; Filled in by driver requesting a Pin#, signed by Driver and Driver&#8217;s supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Please have a default chart field (account information) ready (check with your supervisor for this information).<\/li>\n<li>Your PIN will be unique to you and may be used on any of the cards.<\/li>\n<li>Submit the fully completed and signed form to Ella Glatter, <a href=\"mailto:ella.glatter@maine.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ella.glatter@maine.edu<\/a> and she will send it to <a href=\"mailto:umscreditcards@maine.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">umscreditcards@maine.edu<\/a>. They will confirm your PIN via email.<\/li>\n<li>For an intro to and pertinent information for using a WEX card, please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/mycampus.maine.edu\/group\/mycampus\/fuel-card\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fuel Card page<\/a> (must have a .maine.edu email address\/login to access and view) on the myCampus portal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will be notified when your approval paperwork has been processed!<\/p>\n<h4><strong><a id=\"car-reservation-process\"><\/a>Reservation Process<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>When you are ready to reserve a vehicle, email <a href=\"mailto:ella.glatter@maine.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ella.glatter@maine.edu<\/a> with your date(s), times, and chart field to be charged.
