Programs - 2015 National Extension Conference on Volunteerism

2017 National Extension Conference on Volunteerism

The proposal process to host the 2017 National Extension Conference on Volunteerism is now open. The conference has been held every other year since 1999. Since that initial conference, volunteerism in Cooperative Extension has continued to evolve to meet needs in local communities. New strategies have been developed, research conducted, evaluations implemented, and priorities identified at the local, state, and national level. The 9th National Extension Conference on Volunteerism will be held in April or May, 2017.

We encourage you to consider hosting the 2017 NECV. A short bid proposal is due December 4, 2015. Download a Host Site Application (PDF). If you have any questions, please contact Doug Swanson at (202) 690-1227 or dswanson@nifa.usda.gov.
