These mixes are healthier and less expensive than the packaged convenience mixes you buy in the store, and allow you to control the amount of fat, sodium, sugar, and additives in your foods without sacrificing the convenience of a mix. Cut in butter <strong>with a fork or pastry cutter <\/strong>until well blended. Cover and refrigerate; will keep 1 month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTE: Store in airtight glass jars or canisters. Cover with the boiling water and mix well. Stir in sugar, let stand until lukewarm, then add remaining ingredients and mix well. Put in greased, 9- x 5- x 3-inch loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0F for 1 hour, or until done. Grease bottom of 9- x 13-inch pan. Spread half of the rolled oat mixture over bottom of pan and press. Spread cranberry sauce over the mix. Sprinkle rest of mix evenly over the fruit and press down lightly. Bake at 350\u00b0F for 25 to 30 minutes. Beat egg and milk in a separate bowl. Add liquid mixture to dry mixture, and stir until all ingredients are well blended. Mix in nuts or fruit. Drop by teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Beat egg in a separate bowl and add applesauce. Add liquid mixture to dry mixture, and stir until all ingredients are well blended. Drop by teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet.
