Program Description
4-H Dog SPIN (SPecial INterest) Club led by 4-H Maine Agricience Teen Leader & Maine Eastern States Dog Team with support from Lisa Reilich, 4-H Professional for 4-H Youth ages 9 and up and their 4-H Project Dog
This 4-H SPIN Group will feature hands-on learning & exploration with your 4-H Project Dog using the DISCOVER 4-H Dog Clubs Curriculum and other great 4-H resources. Learn more about caring for and enjoying your best friend. Also learn some basics about the 4-H dog project, including basic commands and showing your dog in 4-H shows. Please bring: your project dog, choke chain or martingale plus flat collar and 6′ lead and show lead if available, water and food dishes, food, pet waste bags and a crate. Please be sure your dog is tick and flea free. Please being proof of rabies and distemper vaccinations as well as your dog license. The Maine 4-H Proof of Vaccination for Dogs form will need to completed and signed by your dog’s veterinarian.
