Join Land for Good and the University of Maine Cooperative Extension for this session on “Developing Sugarbush Leases”. Setting up a sugarbush is a long-term investment. This program will share resources and best practices for developing robust leases between land-owners and maple syrup producers to ensure that investment pays off. We’ll discuss how to assess land value, the benefit of written leases, common negotiation terms in these leases, discuss some case studies to highlight best practices, and leave plenty of time to discuss your scenarios with our leasing expert.
