This two-session course for intermediate level beekeepers will provide a comprehensive lesson on honey bee queens, their purpose, their vulnerabilities, different methods of rearing your own queens, and making nucleus hives.

Program Description

This two-session short course for intermediate level beekeepers will provide a comprehensive lesson on queens, their purpose, their vulnerabilities, different methods of rearing your own queens and making nucleus hives.
*Recommended for all registrants: at least one year of experience with backyard beekeeping.
