Maine Vegetable & Fruit Growers Association Annual Meeting and Educational Program

The meeting will be held as part of the Maine Agricultural Trades Show.  Two pesticide applicator certification credits will be offered for people attending the full program.  Topics include how to improve spray coverage, how to use adjuvants to improve spray efficacy, managing powdery and downy mildew, getting the most out of herbicides, and a review of new agricultural products.  There will also be a grower panel to showcase farmstand set-up, displays, and customer management.

Preregistration is required. To receive recertification credit, applicators must use their real first and last names as their Zoom participant names in the meeting. This is to verify attendance. See program description for instructions.

Attendees MUST be identifiable in the Zoom meeting to be awarded a recertification credit. A Zoom participant name must match the applicator’s full name. To change your participant name in Zoom, click on the ‘participant’ icon. Your Zoom name should be at the top of the participant list with ‘(me)’ beside it. Click the ‘more’ button and select ‘rename’. Make sure to enter both your first and last names. The BPC also requires that attendees answer 3 poll questions during the Zoom session.
