Attending this webinar earns 2 recertification credits.

Program Description

UMaine Extension and the Maine Board of Pesticides Control are pleased to offer a free turfgrass insect pest management (Category 3B) webinar Tuesday, October 6th and Wednesday, October 7th.

Join Dr. Benjamin McGraw, Associate Professor of Turfgrass Science at Pennsylvania State University, for a presentation over cultural, mechanical, and biological control strategies for managing insect pests of turfgrass. Basic turf management to reduce inputs and chemical control will also be covered. Board of Pesticides Control staff will present an update.

There are two opportunities to attend:

October 6th 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm or

October 7th 8:00 am – 10:00 am

This webinar is intended for commercial pesticide applicators certified in Category 3B: Turf and private applicators who grow turf. However, all applicators in need of credits are encouraged to attend and registration is open to everyone.

Attending this webinar earns two recertification credits.
