Participation in group activities is mandatory, and instructors reserve the right to not issue a certificate due to lack of participation, as it is a requirement to completing this course.

Maximum number of participants: 25

Fee: includes morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
If you have dietary restrictions please email no later then April 8, 2020. 

Participants will NOT be admitted into the course without a physical copy of the Fish and Fishery Products Hazards and Controls Guide, 4th Edition (2011), which can be purchased purchased from IFAS Extension Bookstore: (opens in a new tab/window).  Attendees should become familiar with the layout of the guide and review each chapter prior to attending Segment II.  Each attendee must have a copy of the guide.  A few copies of the guide will be available for rent at the UMaine Segment II course at a cost of $50.  You must contact Theresa Tilton immediately after registering (207-942-7396) to determine if a copy is available for lease.

Please send proof of completion of Segment 1 to Theresa Tilton at on or before April 10, 2020; Segment I must be completed BEFORE Segment II;  however you can register for Segment II anytime in order to hold your spot.  More information about Segment I can be found at:
