Program Description

There are many considerations for designing and planning your own ornamental garden. In this presentation, you’ll learn how you can take a sustainable approach to garden design with ideas and tips for siting an ornamental garden, plant selection, plant arrangement and sourcing materials. After this webinar, you’ll have the tools and resources you need to get started on your own garden project.

Instructor: Charlene Spindler Gray holds a master’s degree in Landscape Design from Columbia University. After working and designing in the New York and Maine landscape industries for 10+ years, Charlene now enjoys teaching undergraduate students to design artful and ecological landscapes in the Environmental Horticulture BS degree program at UMaine.
