Blueberry Cove Day Camps, ages 5-11
We think summer camp is the best thing ever, and the day camp programs at Blueberry Cove are designed to give campers an opportunity to interact with other young folks while forming a connection to the world around them. We offer traditional day camps for 5-9 year-olds and three specialty camps for 9-11 year-olds. All programs feature small groups (8 – 10 children) and 2 – 3 leaders with experience working with youth in outdoor education. Campers will have the opportunity to make discoveries and learn about making choices. The programs centered around creating safe spaces for learning, exploring, and growing.
Skippers, First Mates, and Voyagers, ages 5-9
At Blueberry Cove we believe all children should experience the joys and wonder of nature. It is our goal to offer youth outdoor experiences that lead to a lifelong love of the outdoors. Summer camp may only last for a week or two, but the connection to the outdoors, new friends, and new skills last a lifetime!
Campers are grouped by age (First Mates: 5-6, Skippers: 6-7, and Voyagers: 7-9) with specifically tailored activities and games to meet the needs of all. Each age cluster is assigned its own indoor space for storing belongings and having a safe zone away from any challenging weather (or the sun).
Activities may include visiting the goats and garden, playing large inclusive group games, exploring the spruce forest, building fairy houses, creative art projects, spending the afternoon at the beach, searching for treasures, crabbing, swimming (if the tide is right), and more. This is a magical experience your child will not want to miss!
