Struggling beekeepers stabilize population.<\/h3>\n<p><em>By Seth Borenstein, June 22, 2023<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>WASHINGTON (AP) \u2014<\/strong> America\u2019s honeybee hives just staggered through the second highest death rate on record, with beekeepers losing nearly half of their managed colonies, an annual bee survey found.<\/p>\n<p>But using costly and Herculean measures to create new colonies, beekeepers are somehow keeping afloat.
