SUMMARY:Community Science Explorers - Session 4: Maine Maple Sugaring: A Sweet Season
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we welcome Jason Lilley\, Assistant Extension Professor and Sustainable Agriculture and Maple Industry Educator for Maine Cooperative Extension. We will examine what makes the Maine Maple Sugaring industry one of the best in the world\, challenges producers face\, and experience the sweetness for ourselves with taste testing. \nWhen: Thursday\, March 5\, 2026 \nTime: 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. \nLocation: Belfast Free Library\, 106 High Street\, Belfast\, Maine 04915 \nRegistration must be completed for each program session. Registration for each session will open following the completion of the previous month’s program. \nSnacks will be provided for participants.
