UMaine Extension Welcomes Brittany Foster, 4-H Youth Development Professional

The University of Maine Cooperative Extension’s 4-H program welcomes Brittany Foster to the Washington County office as the new 4-H Youth Development Professional! Brittany comes to us from Waco, TX. In her role, she will coordinate and manage the countywide 4-H program including partnerships with schools, afterschool programs and 4-H clubs. In addition Brittany will collaborate with the UMaine 4-H Camp and Learning Center at Greenland Point focusing on environmental and conservation education.

“I am very grateful and excited to have accepted the position as the 4-H Youth Development Professional in Washington County,” states Foster. I am very passionate about coastal resources, environmental education and combining the two. I look forward to getting to know the community, the 4-H families, volunteers and exploring the beautiful state of Maine.”
