Through generous sponsorship of our grant program\, we have funded 51 $500 grants to help students address action-oriented programs and projects back on their home campuses. In 2019 Maine hosted the Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit attended by over 500 students\, faculty\, and staff from throughout the world. This year we are back in a webinar format\, and will focus on the important issue of Maine college student food and housing insecurity and how it impacts a student’s ability to succeed and stay in school.  \nThe Maine Hunger Dialogue will also be live-streamed on YouTube and will be recorded for those who can not participate live.
