SUMMARY:Gardening Series: Growing Microgreens
DESCRIPTION:Webinar\n\nMonday\, January 3\, 2022\n6:00 PM to 7:15 PM\nRegistration deadline: 4 PM on January 3\, 2022 \nMicrogreens may just be the thing to help keep those New Year’s Resolutions and put a little pep in your meals this winter. Recent research showed microgreens contained four to 40 times more nutrients than their mature counterparts and they are fast and easy to grow. These tiny greens are typically herb\, flower\, or vegetable greens grown densely in trays and harvested just after they’ve developed their first true leaves (about 1-6”). In this webinar\, participants will learn about the optimal growing conditions necessary for producing high-quality microgreens indoors as well as the variety of seeds available and their flavor profiles. \nWe offer our program fee on a sliding scale ($0-10) \nRegistration is required – Participants will receive the Zoom information after registering for this event. \nREGISTER HERE
