Dr. Pecchia serves as the Director of the Mushroom Research Center and the Mushroom Spawn Laboratory at Penn State and conducts research on many aspects of mushroom cultivation. Dr. Pecchia is going to give an overview of specialty mushroom production\, covering the wide range of mushroom varieties available for cultivation as well as his experience on which ones are more challenging. He will cover what is needed to start cultivating\, both outdoors as well as indoors.
