DESCRIPTION:University of Maine Cooperative Extension and the Maine Board of Pesticides Control are pleased to offer a free\, virtual recertification training covering forest pests and vegetation management on Tuesday\, October 15th. SUMMARY:4-H Climate Civic Action SPIN Club
DESCRIPTION:University of Maine Cooperative Extension 4-H will lead a three-part\, virtual series on climate change action for youth ages 12-18. Sessions will take place on Mondays\, October 28\, November 14 and November 11 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. This series will be held via Zoom. \nParticipants will learn about climate change from global and local perspectives and explore opportunities for individual action to make a difference. This will involve hands-on\, minds-on learning to unpack this big topic.  \nThe series is hosted by 4-H staff joined by an international graduate student with expertise in climate and public policy. Participation is free though donations are accepted.
