The comprehensive workshop will be held from 9 a.m.-noon on March 14 and 21 at the UMaine Extension Hancock County Office, 63 Boggy Brook Road.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Led by retired Extension Educator Marjorie Peronto, the workshop will cover various aspects of pruning, including pruning small landscape trees on the first day, and pruning flowering shrubs, highbush blueberries, and raspberries on the second day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The cost is $55 per person. Spaces are limited, early registration is recommended. Participants are required to bring their own tools for the course, including a pair of hand pruners, a pruning saw, a pair of loppers, safety glasses and gloves. If buying new tools or unsure about what kind to buy or where, it is recommended to wait until after attending the first class.
