This course provides intensive instruction in horticulture and volunteerism. The course will focus on ecological landscaping with ornamental plants. It will not cover vegetable and fruit production. It is open to anyone with enthusiasm for gardening and volunteering. In exchange for the training, participants are required to volunteer their time and expertise in gardening related community projects. The training will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, July 9, 16, 23, 30, August 6, 13. The cost of the program is based on the participant\u2019s annual household income. There are scholarship funds available.
