Calais, Maine —\u00a0The Washington County Extension Association (WCEA) honored\u00a0several volunteers during its\u00a0Annual\u00a0Meeting\u00a0on\u00a0April 7\u00a0at the\u00a0Wabanaki Culture Center in Calais.<\/p>\n

David O. Sivret of Calais\u00a0was honored with the Norman W. Duzen Community Service Award for his volunteer efforts in the greater Calais area, especially with the Irene Chadbourne Ecumenical Food Pantry.<\/p>\n

Also honored were\u00a0Robert French of Cutler, Ann Luginbuhl of Charlotte and David Winski of Edmunds,\u00a0all of whom received the University of Maine Volunteer Pen Awards for their contributions to the 4-H Robotics Expo Planning Committee.<\/p>\n

The evening also featured a program on 4-H Public Speaking with\u00a04-H members\u00a0Elizabeth and Katie Bitar, Hope\u00a0Carle, and Margaret Mae\u00a0Reilich-Godino,\u00a0and Lisa Reilich, Extension 4-H professional staff member for Hancock and Washington counties.<\/p>\n
