<\/a>New 4-H Club in Whiti<\/strong>ng<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A new club in Whiting had a great inaugural meeting on June 10. They completed paperwork, reviewed the 4-H pledge, and warm-up activity.  They spent time brainstorming a club name and what might be topics of interest for the club.  Future plans include participating in the 4-H photo contest, a display at the Washington County Fair, Perry Harvest Fair, and determining a service project to complete.  The grand finale of the first meeting was to create a real, buzzing, moving, Bristle BEE-Bot!

<\/a>4-H Tech Changemakers Donate Salad Greens to Machias Food Pantry<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 4-H Tech Changemakers have been busy in the garden! In the past two weeks, they have harvested, washed, bagged and labeled 31 bags of salad greens and 6 bags of kale which was all donated to the Machias Food Pantry. TEENS: you are welcome to join us on Monday and Wednesday mornings at the garden from 9:00-11:00 a.m.<\/strong> Come plant and play in the soil, learn some gardening tips and help be a part of a great cause!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t
