UMaine Downeast Agriculture Conference<\/strong><\/p>\n

Date:<\/strong> Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 8:30 am – 4:15 pm (Snow date is January 25).<\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong> Lee\/Pellon Center, Machias<\/p>\n

Registration Fee: $0-$50 (Contribute what you can!)<\/p>\n

Both land and sea based production will be included. The full agenda is below.<\/p>\n

Goals for this event include:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Bring agricultural and aquacultural education and resources to Hancock and Washington counties.<\/li>\n
  2. Connect farmers with other farmers, stakeholders, and organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We are hoping that local organizations and businesses have tables at this event and\/or contribute a donation. This being the first year, we would like everyone to be able to attend and\/or contribute. Different ways you could contribute to making this event successful include:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Request to have a table where your resources and\/or products are displayed<\/li>\n
    • Contribute a monetary donation ($50-$500 range) to help pay for the event<\/li>\n
    • Donate a raffle prize, food item, or table decoration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
