UMaine Extension announces native seed sowing workshop series
Orono, Maine — Registration is now open for two native seed sowing workshops offered this fall by University of Maine Cooperative Extension and McLaughlin Garden and Homestead. The workshops will be held October 28 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Tidewater Farm in Falmouth and on November 8 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the UMaine Extension office in South Paris.
These workshops are ideal for anyone interested in a cost-effective way to grow more native plants for their gardens. Participants will learn the basics of successful native seed starting and will have the opportunity to sow their own seeds to take home. More workshop dates and locations will be added soon.
