Sarah Turner has nearly 15 years’ experience as a Scientific Research Specialist and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources. Her work focuses broadly in aquatic animal health to address challenges facing industry by way of health, production, and economic development through both collaborative grant funded and industry contracted research critical to sustainable Maine food systems. Sarah serves as Project Coordinator for the Aquatic Animal Health Division at the UMaine Cooperative Extension Diagnostic and Research Laboratory. She is experienced at managing large projects from design to completion in areas of aquatic animal feeds, vaccines, therapeutic agents and feed supplements in a variety of species.
