Pamela Hargest provides technical assistance to home, school, and community gardeners, through a number of educational avenues, to help build their horticulture skills while achieving their personal goals. Serving as the Master Gardener Volunteer Coordinator in Cumberland County, Pamela collaborates with volunteers and community partners to develop educational programs that focus on sustainable and ecologically compatible horticulture practices grounded in research-based information. In addition, Pamela manages the UMaine Gardens at Tidewater Farm, a public garden and educational site located in Falmouth.
