Community Central Teen Leaders Visit Executive Committee

This week, Laura Personette and teen leaders Jacob and Odrine visited the UMaine Extension Androscoggin/Sagadahoc County Executive Committee.

Following an introduction to Community Central, Jacob and Odrine led committee members in a demonstration of a Summer of Science activity: Intro to Aerospace, Will it Fly?

After a few test flights and design modifications, the gliders were ready to fly.

In the end, the glider build by Ethan Gray, 4-H member, and Junior Executive Committee member, flew the furthest distance.

Thank you to the Executive Committee for hosting us, we were excited to be able to showcase the work that these young leaders are doing in Lewiston!
