University of Maine Cooperative Extension will host a hands-on “Growing a Cut Flower Garden” workshop from 4–5:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 11 at the UMaine Gardens at Tidewater Farm, 200 Presumpscot Point Rd., Falmouth.

In this interactive session, attendees will learn how to choose the right flowers, start them from seed, planting and harvesting techniques, and garden maintenance. Each participant will leave with a hand-picked bouquet of their own creation.
