University of Maine Cooperative Extension will kick off its Fall Gardening Webinar Series with “Growing Great Garlic” from 6–7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16.

Led by Peyton Ginakes, vegetable production research associate, the webinar will explore everything home gardeners need to know to grow garlic successfully, from planting and seasonal care to harvesting and long-term storage. The session will also address common garlic-growing challenges and how to manage them. Whether you’re new to gardening or a seasoned grower, this webinar offers practical tips for all experience levels.
