Online Master Gardener Volunteer Application Instructions

Go to the Volunteer Portal. 

  1. First, you will need to create an account. Click on Register Here.
  2. Complete the requested registration information. 
  3. You will receive an email with a link to log in, and a reminder of the email you used when setting up your account. Please be sure to use the same email address when you complete the application!
  4. Follow the link back to your volunteer portal and enter your email address, then click continue. 
  5. For your security, a pin number will be sent to your email. Enter that pin number to continue to the portal and complete your application. 

COMPLETING THE APPLICATION:

  • Click on the box labeled Master Gardener Volunteer Training Application
  • Please be sure to answer all questions on the application. Please note: the application does not automatically save. 
  • Please use SAVE & EXIT at the bottom if you’d like to come back and finish it later. 
  • When you are finished answering all the questions, click on the submit button. Your application is now complete, and you will not be able to make any changes. 
  • Failure to type your full name on the signature line under Agreements, or failure to answer all the questions, will result in your application being incomplete. We cannot accept incomplete applications. 

Tip: Not sure if your application was completed? Here’s how to check:

  • Log back into the Master Gardener Volunteer portal using your email address. 
  • Click on Master Gardener Volunteer Training Application.
  • Check the status of your application– if you have an application under “Completed Apps” you are all set! 
  • If your application is under “Incomplete Apps”, click on the application and complete any missing information, then submit. 

Watch your email for notification on September 27th! 

Keep in mind that space is limited due to staff capacity, and though we would like to accept everyone who applies, it is not guaranteed.
