Public Invited to Farm Field Day in Presque Isle

University of Maine Cooperative Extension will host a farm field day 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at UMaine’s Aroostook Research Farm in Presque Isle. Participants will meet at U.S. Agricultural Research Service, 59 Houlton Road, Presque Isle.

Field day topics will include grain trials, potato breeding, and the variety trial program, and crop rotation for control of pink rot potato disease. UMaine Extension food system program administrator Richard Brzozowski will discuss the cooperative relationship at the farm.
