Eat Well Volunteer Registration
To participate, you must first take a supplemental 15-hour Eat Well Volunteer training. Once you complete the training, you will conduct weekly or biweekly hands-on lessons in a food pantry from July through mid-November while distributing fresh produce grown by Master Gardener Volunteers. You will be supplied with everything you need to conduct food pantry demonstrations.
Eat Well Volunteer Training Sessions
The next EWV training sessions are scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, and will meet weekly until June 6, 2023.
The training is $70, which covers training materials, your ServSafe food handler certification, and food costs.
