Hancock County Food Security Network

UMaine Cooperative Extension convenes quarterly meetings of the Hancock County Food Security Network (HCFSN). This is a forum where organizations come together to work on common issues faced by emergency food suppliers, organize advocacy efforts, share resources and receive professional training.  One of their crowning achievements is the annual month-long, county-wide food drive, and fundraiser that supports food security organizations across the county.  HCFSN members include representatives from food pantries, free community meal sites, school backpack programs, and social service agencies.   To become involved with this network, please email sue.baez@maine.edu
