The Bugwood.Org images site, started in 1994 by the University of Georgia’s Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health, has become a tremendous resource for those working in the fields of Invasive Species Management, Integrated Pest Management, and related education and outreach efforts. Currently the site hosts over 144,716 natural resource images in an easy to search and use format. We support their efforts and encourage others with images of Maine invasives to join the effort and share your images, which will be licensed for personal and educational use. Visit their website to sign up or learn more details.

The Invasive.Org site has over 1700 invasive species images in their collection and are organized in the following categories below. Listed below are links to selected species as included in our Identification Resources pages. These include: insects, crustaceans, mollusks, and fish images

For additional photos, visit Insects, Crusteaceans, Mollusks, and Fish or for more detailed info on a particular species see the Identification Resources pages.
