2027 NECV Host State Bid Information
Interested in hosting the 2027 National Extension Conference on Volunteerism in your state?
The National Extension Conference on Volunteerism (NECV) has been held every other year since 1999. This conference is designed to support and strengthen volunteerism in Cooperative Extension with presentations and speakers focused on addressing the evolving needs in local communities. It is an ideal venue to share new strategies, research, and evaluations and discuss volunteerism priorities identified at the local, state, and national levels.
The 15th National Extension Conference on Volunteerism will be held April 22-24, 2025. In 2027, NECV could be held in your state!
The National Extension Conference on Volunteer is made possible through a dedicated collaboration between the NECV Planning Committee and the Host State. The NECV Planning Committee includes representatives from Extension Programs nationwide serving a two conference term and are responsible for the schedule and the educational program for the conference. Interested Hosts should be a State 4-H or Extension Program willing to assist with the location, registration and housing of funds for the conference. Representatives of the Host State will serve on the Planning Committee. Please review the application guide for more information or contact the advisor or chair listed below.
Proposals will be accepted through the NECV Host Site Bid portal (Purdue Qualtrics) and should be submitted no later than December 2, 2024.
Host Site bids will be reviewed by the NECV Planning Committee between October-December with the intention to notify by January 2025. Individual state virtual interviews may be scheduled in October-November if the committee needs clarification.
