Sewing and Textile Science Workshop

Come explore textiles and make your own sewing kit! Are you a novice sewer? No problem! Do you have some experience, but want to learn more? We can help!

What: For three afternoons in February, we will spend time experimenting with textiles and learning about the characteristics of different fabrics. Participants will have the chance to sew (either with a machine or by hand) a different project each day. This workshop is open to sewers of all ages and abilities. All materials and supplies are provided, but if you have a sewing machine that you are comfortable using, please bring it with you. We have lots of fabric to choose from, but you are welcome to bring your own.
