What: A small weekly outside gathering of families (parents included). Our time will start with group gatherings, poetry, and discussion. We will do hands-on guided learning and will end with time for nature journaling. We encourage contributing non-living nature discoveries (shells, etc) to a nature collection we will give to nursing home residents.
Who: Designed for curious nature enthusiasts ages 5 to 18. Enrolled 4-Hers will be offered registration prior to the general public. Space is limited to 15 youth.
Where: Wells Harbor, Wells Maine – Note that specific locations are tentative.
When: Thursdays in September 10:00AM*
September 8th | September 15th | September 22nd | September 30th
NOTE: Space is limited. Families are encouraged to look at their calendar to ensure they are available to attend all four session. If you are not able to consistently attend this month, please leave the slot open for a family who is able. There will be more opportunities next month!
Why: To learn, explore, connect and serve.
*We realize that 10AM during the school day will not work for families who are not homeschooled. Additional workshop series on various topics will be offered on weekends in the near future.
If you need a reasonable accommodation, please contact Erin McDonald at firstname.lastname@example.org or 207-581-8163 by August 25, 2022. If a request is made less than two weeks before the workshop, we may not have sufficient time to make the necessary arrangements.
